This Coven Won't Break is the sequel to These Witches Don't Burn, a story where witches are very real and come in three forms. There are the casters who make potions and are able to set curses and hexes. There are elementals who can control the four elements, air, earth, water, fire. And there are blood witches who can control a person's body with just a tiny bit of blood. These three clans make up the entirety of witches, but what happens when they are being hunted down one by one, and their magic is being stripped from their veins? Will they find a way to save themselves or will they lose the magic that is a complete part of them? Goddess I loved this book and this series. I have had so much trouble the past year at finding characters that I could relate to in books and Isabel Sterling gave me everything I could have ever wanted. The first book in the series was very mysterious but this one was action packed and suspenseful. Sterling creates characters who you easily grow to care for and can relate to easily. She builds a world where you root for the good side but also see points in the bad side. Sterling truly knows how to keep the reader on the edge of their seat but also how to make them relax when that relief is needed. Her pacing is absolutely amazing and there are crazy twists around every corner. This book will leave you heartbroken but also giddy and happy. I truly fell in love with this book and it's characters. I have never read a book that actually made me wish a character was real so I could date them. I think my mom probably got annoyed at how many times I told her I wanted a cute red headed, dancer, blood witch girlfriend. Isabel Sterling has an amazing talent for writing and I will continue to follow her work in the future. I also want to give a shout out to the artist who made the covers for this series. I am so picky about covers and I usually hate covers with people on them but these are gorgeous and I absolutely love them. These are some of my favorite covers ever.
